- 1 lb Wagyu ground beef
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 4 brioche buns
- 4 slices cheese cheddar, Gruyère, or smoked gouda
- 1 tbsp butter for toasting buns
- ½ cup caramelized onions optional
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 4 slices tomato
- ¼ cup truffle aioli or preferred sauce
Prepare the Patties
Divide the Wagyu ground beef into four equal portions.
Lightly shape into patties, about ¾-inch thick, without overworking the meat.
Season both sides with salt and black pepper.
Preheat and Cook
Heat a cast iron skillet or grill over medium-high heat.
Place the patties on the hot surface and cook 3–4 minutes per side for medium-rare.
Flip only once and avoid pressing the patties to keep the juices intact.
Add cheese during the last minute of cooking and cover to melt.
Assemble the Burgers
Spread truffle aioli or sauce of choice on the toasted buns.
Layer with lettuce, tomato slices, and caramelized onions.
Place the Wagyu patty with melted cheese on top and cover with the bun.
Serve and Enjoy
Let the burgers rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Pair with fries, a side salad, or grilled vegetables for a complete meal.
